Jio AirFiber set to launch on September 19, 2023. Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani announced the launch date during the company’s 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on August 28, 2023.
Jio AirFiber is a wireless internet service that uses 5G technology to deliver high-speed internet connectivity to homes and offices. It is expected to offer speeds of up to 1.5 Gbps, which is comparable to fiber-optic connections.
Jio AirFiber will also feature parental controls, support for Wi-Fi 6, and an integrated security firewall. It will be available in select cities at launch, with a wider rollout planned in the coming months.
The price of the Jio AirFiber router is expected to be between Rs 5,000 and Rs 7,000. Jio has not yet announced the pricing of its AirFiber plans, but it is expected to be competitive with other broadband providers.
