WhatsApp is reportedly testing Beta version of app for iPad. This was first reported by WABetaInfo on September 2023. The beta version is currently only available to a limited number of testers, but it is expected to be released to the public in the near future.

Previously, iPad users had to use the web version, as there was no iPadOS app, and the iPhone version wasn’t compatible with Apple’s tablet. But now Users who are beta testers for WhatsApp on their iPhones can now try out the beta version for iPads using the TestFlight app.
The WhatsApp beta for iPad app is said to have a similar interface to the Mac app. Once you install and open the app, it asks you to use WhatsApp on your phone to scan a QR code. After that, the app downloads all your conversations, and you can send and receive messages across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
This is exciting news for WhatsApp users, as it will finally allow them to use the app on their iPads without having to resort to workarounds like using the web version or the iPhone app in split-screen mode. The WhatsApp beta for iPad app is still under development, but it is already looking very promising.
