Google has confirmed that the It’s upcoming Pixel 8 series (Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro) will be launched on October 4, 2023 at the ‘Made by Google’ event. The event will be held at 10:00 AM ET and will be live-streamed on Google’s YouTube channel.
Google teased the launch of its Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro in India on September 7, 2023, via X (formerly Twitter). The flagship smartphones will be available for pre-order in India on Flipkart starting on October 5, 2023.
Google’s upcoming Tensor G3 chipset is expected to treat both smartphones. The Pixel 8 is projected to come with a 6.17-inch display, while the Pixel 8 Pro is expected to have a 6.7-inch display.
Google also gave us a first peek at the Pixel Watch 2 and maybe a new color option for the Pixel Buds in another teaser video. Google’s second-generation smartwatch is said to include the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset, a larger 306mAh battery, and an Ultra Wideband (UWB) chip.
Both phones are expected to launch with Android 14 out of the box. The official Google Pixel’s launch event is set for October 4, 2023, in New York City.
