At the highly awaited Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, the tech giant unveiled its latest flagship series, the Galaxy S24, featuring three cutting-edge devices. And Samsung Galaxy S24 series got record pre-orders in the Netherlands.

The pre-order phase for the Galaxy S24 series has seen unprecedented success, shattering records with nearly 1.2 million devices reserved within the initial week in South Korea. This surpasses the pre-order figures of 1.2 million for the previous S23 generation.

Meanwhile, in India, the S24 has garnered an impressive 250,000 pre-bookings in just three days, a stark contrast to the S23 family, which took three weeks to achieve the same number of reservations.

Samsung Netherlands Marketing Manager Gerben van Walt Meijer attributes this pre-order record to AI features.

“Galaxy AI transforms our connection to the world […]. Our users’ enthusiasm for these new capabilities is reflected in the early sales figures, which are breaking all previous records.”

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is equipped with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, capable of capturing expansive views. Additionally, it features an impressive 200MP wide camera and telephoto cameras with 5x and 3x zoom capabilities, ensuring high picture quality even at maximum zoom levels. For selfie enthusiasts, the device offers a 12MP front-facing camera.
