Xiaomi has unveiled its roadmap for the rollout of its new operating system, HyperOS, in the first half of 2024. HyperOS, built on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and Xiaomi’s own Vela IoT platform, promises a streamlined and user-friendly experience.

Xiaomi HyperOS Updates in H1 2024 Roadmap
Alongside the Xiaomi 14 series, the new OS will also be available on the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro, Xiaomi Watch S3, and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro.
The update won’t be limited to new devices, however. Xiaomi confirmed that a range of existing smartphones and tablets will also receive the HyperOS update within the first half of 2024.

These include the Xiaomi 12 and 13 series, Redmi Note 12 and 13 series, and the Xiaomi Pad 6. While Xiaomi hasn’t specified the exact release dates for individual devices, users can expect the update to arrive sometime between now and June 2024.

Following the global launch of the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra at Mobile World Congress (MWC), the company confirmed that HyperOS will come pre-installed on these flagship devices.
