Vodafone Idea (Vi) has announced the launch of eSIM services for its prepaid customers in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Goa. This expansion follows the successful rollout of eSIM for postpaid users in these regions.

Vodafone Idea rolls out eSIM services in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Goa. This move marks a significant step towards providing a more seamless, faster, and eco-friendly mobile experience for millions of Indians.

How to get Vi eSIM:
Existing Customers:
- Initiate the eSIM activation process by sending a text message with “eSIM” followed by a space and your registered email address to 199.
- Upon sending the message, expect to receive a confirmation SMS. Reply to this SMS with “ESIMY” within 15 minutes.
- Provide consent for eSIM activation over a call.
- Subsequently, you will receive a QR Code via email. Navigate to Settings > Mobile Data > Add data plan on your device and scan the QR Code.
- Complete the activation process within 30 minutes.
New Customers:
- Visit a Vi store with your identity proof.
- Alternatively, activate eSIM online at www.myvi.in.

Vi customers can update their registered email ID by texting 199. The service will be available via SMS 48 hours after registration.
